T-Ball & Coach-Pitch Instructional Programs
The T-Ball & Coach-Pitch Instructional Programs are designed to prepare kids for league play and "real" baseball game settings. This program is the next step from our Fundamentals Classes before progressing on to our NEW Saturday Lil League. It is recommended that players complete at least one Lil Sluggers Class before registering for this program. Players will use gloves, metal or wood bats and level 5 safety baseballs. Ages 4 & 5 will play T-Ball. Ages 6 to 8 will play Coach-Pitch.
The objective of the program is to reinforce the fundamental skills learned in Lil Sluggers classes and apply them into a real game setting. Kids are instructed how to handle all of the different situations that arise during a game, like force outs, tagging up, etc.... All of this is done in an exciting environment that will help the kids develop a real love for baseball.
Lincoln Park/Wrigleyville (Spring & Summer): You can choose to practice once during the week and play in a game (double-play), or just come once per week for practice or a game.
South Loop (Summer Only): A short fundamentals practice is followed by an instructional game for both T-Ball Ages 4 & 5 and Coach-Pitch Ages 6 to 8.
