This program is a new addition to our line-up and introduces young players to league baseball played in a fast-paced and fun environment.  Our mission is to help your player develop an understanding and love of the game that will start them on their baseball path.

​This program is different from our "Instructional Program", in that it is run like a real  league.  Here are the highlights of our NEW Saturday T-Ball and Coach-Pitch Lil League:

  • Full uniform - team jersey, pants, and hat are included.  Uniform pick-up location and time will be emailed before the season begins.
  • Practices and Games will be held on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am or 10:30 am for the T-Ball League; and 8:30 am, 10:00 am or 11:30 am for Coach-Pitch.  Teams will practice for 30-40 minutes before playing a minimum three inning game.  The schedule will work just like a real league, meaning your game time may change from week to week depending on the number of teams registered.  Games are about one hour.
  • Team assignments and game schedules will be posted on our website and emailed before the session begins.  Friend and sibling requests are welcome!  There will be a maximum of 10 players on a team.
  • ALL FRIEND & SIBLING REQUESTS ARE WELCOME!
  • All Saturday practices and games will be held at the following locations:
    • ​T-Ball Ages 4 & 5 - Coonley Elementary Field, 4046 N. Leavitt (North Center)
    • T-Ball Ages 4 & 5 - Holstein Park, 2200 N. Oakley (Bucktown)
    • Coach-Pitch Ages 6 to 8 - Wrightwood Park, 2534 N. Greenview Avenue and    Wicker Park, 1425 N. Damen Avenue.  This league is played at two locations and your park could change from week to week.  The fields are about 10 minutes apart.
  • Practices will follow a scripted curriculum that teaches the fundamentals of baseball and how to apply them in a game.
  • Players can add an optional additional day of practice during the week at a discounted rate.  Practices last one hour and you can pick your day of the week.  Weekday practices will be held at Jonquil Park and Holstein Park.  Just call our office for details.
  • FAST-PACED PLAY.   EVERY player plays every inning.
  • Two Lil Slugger Coaches direct play on the field - NO Parent Coaches:  (1) One coach will be at the plate helping the hitters with proper footwork, hand position, and swing plane; (2) One coach will be in the field directing the defense and teaching different baseball situations.  All parents can enjoy watching their player having fun playing baseball!​
  • Appropriate baseball rules will apply​ and all players will bat each inning.
  • Score will be kept and there will be a winning and losing team each game.
  • League standings will be posted on our website after each Saturday.​
  • Playoff weekend will be played the last week by all teams based on standings and will include a championship game by the top two teams.
  • Register your player as an individual, with a sibling, with friends and classmates, or build your own team!​
