Find the beginner program that's right for your child...
At Lil Sluggers, we have several different programs for kids of all ages & skill levels. Kids learn best when they are grouped with other kids that have similar skill sets. When choosing a program for your child, please choose a group based on the age your child will be at the end of the session, and your child's experience level.
Our program is flexible, so don't worry about choosing the wrong program for your child at the beginning. We will recommend a different program for your child if we feel they are ready for the next level, and you can switch your child to another program during the same session. All of our programs are taught with the philosophy of FUN, CONFIDENCE and BASEBALL in that order. Play Ball!

Classes are the core of the Lil Sluggers curriculum. Classes are for kids just beginning their journey into baseball, and are designed to be fast paced and fun. Kids will rotate in small groups through several drills designed to improve specific skills. Age appropriate equipment is used to teach beginner Classes for ages 2 thru 8. Often times, wiffle balls, training bats, hitting tees and beginner baseball gloves are used to teach the basics.

The Coach-Pitch Instructional League is designed to prepare kids for Little League and "real" baseball game settings. Kids will use gloves and metal bats, as well as our level 5 safety "league balls". Most kids in a league will be 4.5 years or older, and will have completed a Lil Sluggers Class or will have played in a local tee ball league.
You can choose to come once or twice per week. Typically, most players come once during the week for practice and then come again on Saturday morning for a game |
The objective of the league is to reinforce the fundamental skills they learned in Lil Sluggers classes and how to apply them into a real game setting. Over the course of the 8 to 10 weeks, kids will learn how to play a real baseball game. Kids are instructed how to handle all of the different situations that arise during a game, like force outs, tagging up, etc.... All of this is done in an exciting environment that will help the kids develop a real love for baseball.
