Baseball in Chicago is not a season, it is a tradition that has been alive for generations. From Rogers Park to Hyde Park, Chicagoans of all ages hit the diamonds every spring, summer and fall to enjoy and compete in our beloved pastime. The Lil' Sluggers Program is designed to prepare kids ages 2 through 8, for their journey into organized team play by improving and developing their social and physical skills both on and off the field.
Lil' Sluggers is an instructional program that focuses on the fundamental skills needed to be successful in baseball, while creating a fun environment that will help your child foster a real love for the game. Basics such as throwing, catching, hitting and base running are the core of the curriculum. Our instructional classes, camps and leagues will build confidence, while recognizing the importance of teamwork, cooperation and helping others.
No obligation trial classes are available! All summer activities are held outside for a real baseball experience, and classes are available all year-round. No equipment is necessary for 2 and 3 year olds; baseball gloves are recommended for 4 thru 8 year olds. We also do private lessons for individual kids, teams or groups.
