Winter Instructional Coach-Pitch Leagues at...
Our Instructional Coach-Pitch Leagues are designed for children ages 4 to 5 and 6 to 7 years old who have participated in at least one Lil Sluggers class, or have had prior experience playing organized Tball/Baseball. Each week we teach a new aspect of the game at the beginning of practice, such as cut-offs, tagging up, etc..., and run a drill or two to reinforce basic fundamentals. Then a real 3 to 4-Inning, Coach-pitch game is held using real Tball/Baseball rules and equipment.
This is a program addition to help players adapt to a real game atmosphere and apply what they have learned in our Lil Sluggers classes. Lil Sluggers coaches will be on the actual playing field to direct play as it unfolds, and instruct players where to throw the ball and how to run the bases. A Lil Sluggers coach will do the pitching & umpiring, and another coach will play first base. The pace of the game is much faster than a regular little league Tball/baseball game to ensure fun and excitement for the kids.
There will be a winning team and a losing team each week unless the score is tied at the end of the game. Our goal is to develop good sportsmanship, teamwork and a sense of real competition before moving on to the next level.

Option 1 - Practice + Game: - Twice Per Week - Weekday Practice @ 4:00 pm + Saturday Game
